The Prairie 

Nature lovers and prairie enthusiasts will love this modern home built to complement its magnificent surroundings:  18 acres of restored prairie surround the house.  65 native flower species and 7 grasses provide a dynamic collage of color for three seasons.  Take a stroll through the prairie or the 14-acre oak/hickory woods  and you are likely to view deer, sandhill cranes, hawks, and an occasional great horned owl.  Tours of the prairie can be arranged.

            The Lake

We provide 2 kayaks, a canoe and a rowboat for use on lake sinissippi where bald eagle, great blue heron, white pelican and  egrets are commonly seen in the marshy bays.   We have a pier and boathouse and there’s a boat launch up the street if you wish to bring your own water ski boat or jet ski.   Just upstream from Lake Sinissippi on the Rock River, is Horicon National Wildlife Refuge, where over 200 species of birds have been documented, making it an attractive destination for birders and nature photographers.
